I went to Antioch park and as I was walking around the "lake" they have there I noticed across the way, sitting on a bench, a young hippie mother and her stark naked daughter. Apparently the child refuses to wear clothes. Ever. I asked if she minded if I took a couple of shots of her daughter and she didn't mind one bit. This is one of the things I love most about photography- the right place at the right time.
I wish we were all this un-self-conscious about our bodies. I guess it takes the genius mind of a 2 year old to remind us of our flaws. That was a good day. |
